Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of QuantShift AI ("the Service"), operated by Quant Mec Technologies (SSM Reg: 202603082822 / 003836548-H). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. The Service

QuantShift AI is a multi-agent AI system that analyses business and market data to produce strategic recommendations. The Service is designed for global users across all industries and is offered subject to the limitations described in our pricing plans.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Upload content you do not have rights to use;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product;
  • Submit personal data of third parties without their consent;
  • Use the Service to generate content that is defamatory, harassing, or harmful.

5. AI-generated outputs

The Service uses large language models and external data sources to generate strategic analyses. Outputs are advisory only. They are not a substitute for professional advice from qualified consultants, lawyers, accountants, or other experts. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on outputs of the Service.

You retain ownership of any inputs you submit and the AI-generated outputs produced for you, subject to our underlying intellectual property rights in the Service itself.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the then-current billing period; we do not provide pro-rated refunds.

Session limits apply per the plan you are on (Free: 3/month, Starter: 5/month, Professional/Enterprise: unlimited). Session counts are shared across the Quant Mec Technologies product family — usage in SparkQuant AI counts toward the same monthly cap.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party services such as Notion. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Quant Mec Technologies and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service as described in these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for material breach of these Terms or for any other reason, with notice where reasonably practical. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUANT MEC TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quant Mec Technologies from and against any claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
